The Solo Express: A Parable by Guruji

The disciples sat in a quiet circle around Guruji, as a high-speed train thundered past in the distance. In his hand rested a silent smartphone, its dark screen reflecting only the vast sky above.

A student leaned forward and asked, “Guruji, how do we stay focused on our higher purpose when the world is always pulling our attention elsewhere?”

Guruji smiled gently and began his parable.

The Journey to the Inner Horizon

“There was once a traveler,” he said,“ who boarded a private, high-speed train bound for the Inner Horizon—the place where one meets one’s true potential.”

As the train prepared to depart, she looked out the window. The platforms were crowded. Thousands stood there—some lost in the glow of their phones, endlessly scrolling…others arguing over fleeting trends that would be forgotten by dawn.

For a moment, doubt crept into her heart.

“Am I missing out?” she wondered.“ Should I step off and join them?”

The Realization

But the train had already begun to move.

And in that moment, she saw clearly—every second she spent staring at the platformwas a second lost from her own journey.

Guruji paused and said softly:

“Most people are not traveling. They are living in the terminal, mistaking the waiting to be the arrival.”

The traveler looked again. The crowd was content with distractions—the “popcorn and chips” of life.

But she… she had been invited to a deeper feast.

With quiet resolve, she pulled down the shade.

Not in rejection of the world—but in commitment to her path.

She understood then:

“Life is a solo journey—through the Self, by the Self, to the Self.”

It did not matter if her carriage was empty. It did not matter if she traveled alone.

The noise outside was not her destination. It was merely passing scenery.

Guruji tapped his dark phone screen and looked at his disciples:

“Be the pilot of your own intent.”

He continued,

“The seed does not check how other seeds are growing. It simply turns toward the sun.”

The disciples sat in silence, absorbing his words.

The train in the distance had long passed, but something within them had begun to move.
